New Installation

I win the award for never ever taking pictures. Last Saturday night we had our group show in Chicago and I failed to take a single picture of the reception. I did take a few photos the day before of the mini-installation that I did. I really wanted to bring my house but I don't know how to travel with it yet. So I took the opportunity to make a new piece. I brought two suitcases with me and and just started hanging things on the wall. It took me several hours to make it but I really enjoyed it and had fun. I called it "My Bedroom Then and Now."
The reception was a lot of fun. Later that night most of us went to another part of town for another art show hosted by Drive-by Press. Again I failed to take a single picture. My classmates and I all had work in the show as our school and printmakers from Madison were invited to participate. Saturday night was a fun night filled with art... and a lot of wine.
Our group show is still up for a month and will be open on the weekends at 230 West Superior. If you are in town stop by and see all the amazing work from an amazing group of students!

  2. I like this installation a lot. Also, I normally wouldn't say this, but I really think your profile pic is hysterical.
