Small Details

Time seems to be flying by so quickly which may be why I have been so MIA lately.  The wedding will be here soon and then we will move into our new home. I can't believe it. In the meantime I feel like I have been floating around and waiting.  But there are some little moments that have been interesting....

Like this beautiful bracelet combo I got at work. I'm kind of crazy about it. Please ignore the fact that my hand and arm look weird in this composition and focus on that pink and gold combo! Seriously if you live in the area Cracker Jax is the place for the most amazing jewelry.

I worked in my studio and caught up on Project Runway All-Stars. Who didn't see that ending coming? I won't spoil it if you haven't seen it yet but I have to admit, toward the end I was starting to root for someone else to win and it wasn't Michael Costello.  Who did you want to win?

 This is constantly how my table looks.  I'm working on some blue ones, it's been a nice change of pace.

 I got to take my first bike ride of the season recently.  I have to admit it feels weird going out riding now and not dreaming of owning every house I see.  Now I ride and dream of my own new home.

 Yesterday I used my artistic superpowers to wrap gifts for the ladies who will be hostessing showers for me in my hometown. I leave next weekend and it can't come quickly enough!

 And finally, for the first time in a long time my closet seems to be exploding with color.  More often than not most of my wardrobe is black.  Now it's bright and ready for the sun!

Over the next couple of weeks I will be bringing you posts with lots of artists.  Many great people I know are finishing up their thesis shows and getting ready to go into the world with a fancy degree.  I'm excited to share their work with you. Today I'm taking my camera out and photographing a great couple for a Dreamy, Artful Couple post. I can't wait to share all these amazing artists with you.
