Giveaway!!

I am the absolute world's worst at taking pictures and editing them. So... what do I do? Take the same picture twice and edit them both poorly(?) and hope two wrongs make a right...
This framed drawing is here for the giveaway! I'm so thankful for all my readers and I think it's definitely time for another giveaway. What do you do? Leave a comment and recommend some good music. A band, song, anything. Also, if you re-post this giveaway leave another comment saying you did so. This giveaway will go to next Monday, March 29.
This is in a 10" x 10" white shadowbox frame. It is a mixed media piece with some pastels and and screenprinted collaged paper in the top right. The ghost was created on a manilla envelope and also collaged on. I hope you like it!

LOVE the drawing, you should get a song called "Hey Baby Que Paso" by the Texas Tornados. It's been in my head for about two weeks now.

Hi. In honor of the giveaway ghost I recommend Sting's album Ghost in the Machine. Also, the most recent new album I got was Cyndi Lauper's Bring Ya to the Brink--it is good.

Hey girl! I'm going to repost your giveaway on my FB. I've recently discovered Bon Iver, and I really like their music. :) You should check out Skinny Love, Blood Bank, and/or Re: Stacks if you haven't yet.

I'm gonna recommend to you the Ben Sollee album "Learning To Bend". It's lovely.

oh my goodness, the ghost looks so confused and cute!

Songs: Never is a promise & Paper Bag by Fiona Apple, Memory by Elaine Paige, Out on a Limb by Heather Nova, Sofia by Nerina Pallot.

Oops - nearly all sort of delicate serious songs but good ones!

I always find it hard to suggest music without knowing what you like so I made you a little mini playlist that represents morning to bed.
1. Wake Up - Arcade Fire (I know, so original)
2. Wedding Bells - Beach House
3. Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles (When you get inspired and really want to make art...)
4. Missed the Boat - Modest Mouse
5. Under Pressure - Queen (When you got distracted by facebook and need to finish you work...)
6. No One is Going to Love You Like I Do - Band of Horses
7. Only Moment We Were Alone - Explosions in the Sky

So enjoy!

oooh well, I love music by: Martha Tilston, her album 'Bimbling' is fantastic. I also love Beth Orton, particularly the album 'Central Reservation' - I have random taste and am really into Stone Roses seminal album at the moment.

Um, cant' think of anything else at the mo, but will be back if I do :)
