Hey all! I'm glad that so many people seemed to really did Valerie Lueth's work in my last AotD post. Sorry I missed getting an artist on here yesterday. I got super busy and lost my day somehow. Today's artist is
Gretchen Schermerhorn. I had a hard time finding many images of her work but I really encourage you to take a minute and explore her website. Her handmade paper sculptures are gorgeous. I'm not sure how Gretchen's name ended up on my list. I think I possible saw her work in something print related and wrote it down. I'm glad I did!
Today is another day devoted to the studio. I've been there every day this week. Sometimes I feel like progress is made, other times I feel like I spent five hours doing nothing. I'm scared! Scared scared scared!
I meant to post about the fabulous birthday gift I mentioned before but alas I left my camera at my studio. Soon soon. It's really such a sweet and wonderful gift. I'm a pretty lucky girl. Even if I'm scared scared scared in the studio!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

mmm, thank you for showing me her work! I love it!
I love paper sculptures. It seems like such a weird medium... paper is typically used for 2D art. Thanks for sharing!
I know Gretchen from Pyramid Atlantic and have admired her work for years, so glad to see her on your blog!
Johanna, thanks for letting me know!
Ann, I'm so flattered! I really like your work too-do I smell a collaboration??
