When my grandparents passed away my uncle continued to live at their house which has been nice because everything has stayed in place. I don't have to rely on my memory of what my grandparent's home was like, it's there for me to see. The aesthetic of their home is gorgeous. They still have the stockings that belonged to my dad and his brothers.

And a fabulous santa collection.

Dad pointed out all of his favorite ornaments that are very old and gorgeous.

I love this home. I spent a while really exploring it and filling up with great memories.

I'm feeling much better today. Had a great visit with my friend and am ready to get back in the studio and plow through this bit of an art block I'm having. I have no time for art blocks.

Have a great day!

That is nice that the house is still in the family! I rembember us emptying the house of my sad. We even celebrated new years eve in the empty house as a kind of closure.
Good luck with your art work!
